DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] \nOBJECTIVES\n– To refresh standard scans of joints and pararticular structures.\n– To referesh ultrasound abnormalities including characteristic B-mode and Doppler findings in inflammatory rheumatic diseases.\n– To refresh findings in patients with peripheral nerve entrapment syndromes.\n– To refresh characteristic findings in large vessel vasculitis.\n– To refresh the recognition of sports injuries. \nMAIN TOPICS\n– Basic\, intermediate and advanced level pathologies and ultrasound based differential diagnosis of rheumatic diseases.\n– Peripheral nerve entrapment syndromes.\n– Ultrasound in large vessel vasculitis.\n– Sonographic findings in patients with sports injuries. \nLIVE DEMONSTRATIONS\n– To demonstrate standard scans\, basic\, intermediate and advanced level pathologies.\n– To demonstrate sonography of peripheral nerves and vessels.\n– To discuss common artefacts and pitfalls. \nWORKSHOPS IN SMALL GROUPS\n– Supervised hands-on scanning of patients with rheumatic diseases.\n– Supervised hands-on scanning of peripheral nerves.\n– Supervised hands-on scanning of temporal arteries. \nCOURSE REGISTRATION\nThe course is open for all attendees from EFSUMB member countries.
